From 1707 to 2016<\/h2>\n

Doplr<\/strong><\/span> (pronounced \u2018doppler\u2019) was born in 2016<\/strong> with the idea of creating a collection of luxury watches with functions for measuring vital parameters such as pulse and respiratory rate, with reference to history.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1707<\/strong>, Sir John Floyer<\/strong>, an English physician, and Samuel Watson, a London watchmaker, created a \u2018pulse-counting watch\u2019: the first pulsometer<\/strong> watch. He used it to measure his patients’ pulses, a revolution at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The union of time and medicine<\/span><\/h2>\n

Doplr<\/strong><\/span> symbolises this link between time<\/strong> and life<\/strong>: the Doppler effect makes it possible to measure speeds<\/strong> (in metres\/second) and to study blood flow<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The logo is the perfect synthesis of this union: the snake<\/strong> of Asklepios, symbol of Medicine<\/strong>, entwined around the Infinity sign<\/strong>, symbol of Time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

New <\/span>2026 <\/span>collection\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our first collection, the Pulse Watch, produced in a limited edition of 350 pieces, reinterpreted the pulsometric scale within a Swiss-made luxury watch.<\/p>\n

In 2026, we will launch a new collection dedicated to the world of rescue and extreme conditions \u2014 while remaining faithful to the codes of luxury and vital parameter measurement that define DOPLR.<\/p>\n<\/div>
